Awards Luncheon

Celebrating Excellence Across the Texas Division

Saturday’s Awards Luncheon is our opportunity to come together and recognize the Camps whose hard work, leadership, and dedication have strengthened the Texas Division during the past year.

Across Texas, our Camps preserve history, honor Confederate veterans, serve their communities, recruit new members, communicate our message, and keep the traditions of the Sons of Confederate Veterans alive. The Awards Luncheon is where we celebrate those accomplishments.

Recognizing Our Camps

During the luncheon, Texas Division awards and banners will be presented to Camps that have distinguished themselves during the year. Recognition includes honors such as the Distinguished Camp Award and Four Star Camp recognition, along with awards recognizing achievement in areas such as membership retention, communications, websites, newsletters, and overall Camp performance.

For the winning Camps, these awards are more than something to take home. They represent the combined efforts of the compatriots who gave their time and talents throughout the year to make their Camps successful.

Add Another Streamer to the Colors

One of the great traditions of the Awards Luncheon is seeing Camp colors decorated with the streamers earned through years of achievement.

Each new streamer tells part of a Camp’s story—a visible record of service, accomplishment, and pride that will be carried forward at meetings, ceremonies, parades, and future Reunions.

Fellowship Around the Table

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Reunion luncheon without fellowship. Share a meal with compatriots and guests from across Texas, celebrate the accomplishments of your fellow Camps, and perhaps take a little inspiration—and friendly competition—back home with you.

Will Your Camp Take Something Home in 2028?

There’s only one way to find out.

Join us Saturday for the 2028 Texas Division Awards Luncheon and help us recognize the Camps and compatriots who make the Texas Division stronger.
