Commanders Reception

Fellowship Begins Here

The meetings can wait until tomorrow. Friday evening is about welcoming everyone to Round Rock.

The Commander’s Reception officially opens the social side of the 131st Texas Division Reunion, bringing together compatriots, spouses, guests, Division leadership, and friends from across Texas for a relaxed evening of fellowship, conversation, and Texas hospitality.

Reconnect with old friends, meet compatriots from other Camps, and make some new ones while enjoying heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music, and an evening designed simply to give us time together.

Heavy Hors d’Oeuvres

Come hungry. We’ll have a generous selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres to enjoy throughout the reception, giving everyone the opportunity to eat, mingle, and visit without the formality of a seated dinner.

Fellowship & Networking

One of the best reasons to attend a Texas Division Reunion is the opportunity to spend time with people we may see only once or twice a year.

The Commander’s Reception is designed for exactly that. No business meeting. No agenda. Just time to renew friendships, meet Division officers and members from across Texas, welcome first-time attendees, and enjoy the fellowship that makes the Reunion special.

Live Music

Austin isn’t called the “Live Music Capital of the World” for nothing—and you can’t hold a Reunion this close to Austin without bringing a little of that tradition to Round Rock.

Live music will set the tone throughout the Commander’s Reception, providing the soundtrack for an evening of good food, conversation, and fellowship. After all, this is Texas. A gathering like this just wouldn’t be complete without some live music.

Bourbon & Cigar Social

Pour a Glass. Light a Cigar. Pull Up a Chair.

As the evening continues, join us for a distinctly Texas addition to the Commander’s Reception—the Bourbon & Cigar Social.

Enjoy a good bourbon and a fine cigar while spending time with fellow compatriots and friends. Whether you’re a bourbon enthusiast, appreciate a good cigar, or simply want to pull up a chair and join the conversation, this is meant to be an informal, relaxed way to wind down the evening.

No speeches. No program. Just bourbon, cigars, conversation, and fellowship.

The Perfect Start to Reunion Weekend

Good food. Live music. Old friends. New friends. A glass of bourbon and perhaps a good cigar.

That sounds like a pretty good way to begin the 131st Texas Division Reunion.
